JCB is founded in 1979 as JCB India, and now they’re serving worldwide and manufacture world-class equipment for export markets. JCB manufacture Backhoe Loaders, and their factory at Delhi-NCR is the world’s largest factory for Backhoe Loaders. Apart from Backhoe Loaders, JCB also manufactures Skid Steer Loaders, Telehandlers, Diesel Engines and Diesel Generators. Now they’ve 22 plants on four continents with over 750+ dealers around the world. Through the I5 operator training centre, they’re creating employment and entrepreneurship among youth. With the vision to look for development, JCB always moves to the next step towards success.

We need to identify the true problem and underlying causes to equip our clients with the best possible and suitable solution, and so understanding the problem accurately and precisely is important. The following are the steps involved during the process:

Discussion with stakeholders helped us to understand their dilemmas and where they face obstacles. We discussed aspects related to the problems they were facing in daily operations, including their vision, operation processes, operation conflicts and key areas where they’re experiencing the issue in detail to equip them with the required service.

Automation of some business operations or processes helps to increase work efficiency by multiple folds. Since a smooth business process leads to business growth and achieving business goals within the envisioned time frame, understanding the business process is a key step.


SOPs define every step that helps maintain quality control, ensure consistency in tasks, and decrease human errors. Understanding the SOPs of JCB helped us to identify any violation of its protocols while providing the services.


Understanding the limitations of JCB’s processes and procedures and data privacy system prevented us from any deviation and revamping and supported us in equipping them with the best suitable solutions based on the problem.

After all the conversation, investigation and analysis, we came to the conclusion and found the issue in their operations. Because of inconsistencies in their operation processes, JCB was experiencing a lack of quality in the tasks and inefficiency in the workflow. They required proper consultation and solution architecture for consistent, smooth and efficient operation.

Solution Architecture

Our solution architects created the entire solution structure for their business operation and process and how automation will work, including the process flow diagram and charts. They designed a few mockups for JCB to decide the best fitting one.

After analysis and out-and-out consultation, JCB finalised the best-fitted solution architecture from all the suggested mockups and executed it to their business operation processes. We did intermediary development for them and served them within the proposed timeline.
